Description
Rich in symbolism, the five crosses of the Jerusalem Cross represent Jesus & His wounds upon the cross, as well as the four Gospel writers and Christ. A symbol found in the Episcopal and Anglican traditions, and in the Holy Land.
Pewter mounted on painted wood panel. The title of the piece is signed on the side of the wood panel.
These were prototypes for a new line right before COVID hit so they did not get fully developed and put into the line.
Cynthia carved the original in jeweler's wax. Pewter pieces are all hand cast and finished. Also available in the Medium Frame - 10".
